Halo Water Proofing has been the Newberg area's go-to call for Emergency Waterproofing because we answer the phone, show up on time, and stand behind the work.
Halo Water Proofing started as a small OR crew and grew because Newberg customers kept referring us to neighbors — that's still how most of our work comes in today.
Every technician on our Newberg crew is background-checked, factory-trained on the equipment we install, and held to the same estimate we quote you over the phone — no upsell surprises when the truck pulls up.
Call now and talk to an actual technician, not a script. We'll walk you through what's likely going on and get a crew scheduled.
📞 +1-866-476-1348Water problems rarely announce themselves all at once — they usually show up as small clues first. Here's what our Newberg technicians hear about most often before an inspection.
Odor is often the first sign Newberg customers notice, well before any visible water shows up.
Stair-step cracks in block foundations are a common early warning sign we see across Newberg-area homes.
It's easy to dismiss efflorescence as harmless dust, but it actually signals active moisture movement through the wall.
A sump pump that never stops cycling is often working harder than it should, or is undersized for your Newberg lot's water table.
A bowing basement wall is a structural concern in addition to a water one — this is the kind of Newberg call we prioritize fast.
Flooring that's cupping or warping near an exterior wall is a common clue our Newberg crews trace back to a drainage issue.
Every Newberg property is different — soil, slope, foundation age, water table depth. We size the fix to the actual problem, not a one-size package.
Standing water in your basement doesn't wait for business hours, and neither do we. Our Newberg emergency crews extract standing water first, then diagnose the source so it doesn't happen again next storm.
Call for Emergency Service →Freeze-thaw cycles in Newberg, OR push existing cracks wider every winter, which is why we recommend sealing them before they become an active leak rather than after.
Get a Crack Assessment →Already have a sump pump that's failing or too small for your Newberg lot? We'll test it, tell you honestly whether it needs replacing, and size the new one to your actual water volume — not the cheapest unit on the truck.
Schedule a Pump Inspection →An interior drain tile system channels water to a sump pump before it ever reaches your Newberg basement floor — one of the most reliable long-term fixes we install.
Ask About Drain Systems →Musty smell upstairs that you can't explain? It's usually the crawl space. Our Newberg crews encapsulate the space fully — floor, walls, and vents — so moisture stops migrating into your living areas.
Get a Crawl Space Quote →Commercial properties in Newberg carry bigger stakes when water gets in: inventory, tenants, downtime. We scope commercial jobs with the same crew leads who run our residential work, backed by written specs and timelines.
Request a Commercial Quote →Here's exactly what to expect once you call +1-866-476-1348 for Emergency Waterproofing in Newberg.
We start with a phone conversation, not a script — enough to know whether this is an emergency dispatch or a scheduled inspection.
A technician inspects the Newberg property in person, checking the foundation, drainage, grading, and any active moisture before recommending a fix.
No verbal estimates that change later. What's quoted for your Newberg job is what's invoiced.
Once the repair is done, you get documentation of the work and a written warranty — not just a handshake.
You get a written number before any work begins — the price you approve is the price you pay, no change-order games.
Our trucks stage locally around Newberg, which is why emergency calls typically get a technician on-site in under two hours, not "sometime tomorrow."
Warranty terms are explained before you sign, in plain language, so there's no fine print surprise if you ever need to use it.
Our technicians are paid to diagnose correctly, not to upsell — that changes the advice you actually get on-site.
We document the damage with photos and a written scope your insurance adjuster can actually use, and we'll walk you through the claim process.
Every Newberg job reflects on the next referral, so we treat each one like it's the only advertising that matters.
"They came out the same afternoon I called about water coming in during a storm. Explained everything before they touched anything. Basement's been bone dry since."
"Fair price, showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves. Wish more contractors worked like this."
"Crawl space smelled awful for years. Encapsulation crew did a clean job and the smell is completely gone upstairs now."
"Straightforward commercial quote, no back-and-forth, crew was professional the whole project."
"French drain install took two days like they said it would, not five. Yard was put back together better than before."
"Insurance claim was a headache until they stepped in with photos and a written scope. Adjuster approved it within a week after that."
